Day 1

Arrival in Marrakech – Welcome to Morocco

We will pick you up at Marrakech airport at your scheduled arrival time and take you to the Riad, located in the heart of the Marrakech medina—very close to the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square and the city's great market. You will have the afternoon free to explore the city a bit and dine in the square or the surrounding area in the evening. Overnight stay at the Riad..

Day 2

Marrakech – Essaouira – Marrakech

After a delicious breakfast at the riad in Marrakech, our driver will pick you up and head west toward Morocco's Atlantic coast—specifically to Essaouira. The journey covers less than 200 km and passes through argan forests along certain stretches of the route. If you wish, we can make a stop to see firsthand the work of local cooperatives dedicated to extracting prized argan oil.

In any case, we will soon arrive in Essaouira to explore the city—formerly known as Mogador by the Portuguese and nicknamed the "City of the Wind." You will have plenty of free time to visit its main attractions, such as the UNESCO World Heritage-listed medina and the seaside fortress, which served as a filming location for scenes from *Game of Thrones*. Day 3

Marrakech – The High Atlas Mountains (Tizi´n Tichka) – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Skoura – Dades Gorge

We depart from your accommodation in Marrakech at 8:30 AM, heading south across the High Atlas Mountains via the spectacular Tizi n'Tichka mountain pass (2,260m)—the highest in North Africa. We will visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, the oldest in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This location has served as a filming set for numerous productions, including movies such as *Gladiator*, *Ali Baba*, and *Lawrence of Arabia*, as well as the series *Game of Thrones*. After lunch, we will head to the wonderful city of Ouarzazate (known as the "City of Cinema"), where we will stop to visit or take photos of the film studios. We will then travel along the "Route of a Thousand Kasbahs," stopping in the Valley of the Roses (the rose production season and festival take place in May, and there are unique cooperatives we can visit along the way) before continuing to the Dades Valley, where we will spend the night. Alojamiento en Kasbah Hotel con cena y desayuno incluido.

Day 4

Dades – Todra Gorge – Touroug – Erfoud – Merzouga – Camel excursion – Camp

After breakfast, we will continue our journey to the Todra Valley and Gorges. We will explore the area and marvel at the impressive vertical cliffs—rising over 300 meters—that seem to close in as you walk through. We will travel through the palm groves of Tinjdad and visit the town of Erfoud, renowned for its marble and fossils; we can stop there if you are interested. In the afternoon, we will arrive at the breathtaking dunes of Merzouga (Erg Chebbi), where we will trade our 4x4 for "8x8" dromedaries. Riding them, we will cross the dunes to reach a secluded camp of traditional tents deep in the heart of the desert, where—weather permitting—you can admire the starry sky amidst the magical silence of the desert. Day 5

 Merzouga – Visit Nomads – Khamlia – Quad Route

An outdoor day in the Sahara Desert, to take advantage of the silence and peace it conveys—an experience you can enjoy only here.r.

Today, we will explore the Merzouga desert. We will take a 4x4 tour through the Sahara, traversing the dunes and visiting nomadic settlements to experience desert life firsthand. Afterward, we will stop in the village of Khamlia to relax with tea while enjoying traditional spiritual Gnawa music (a genre rooted in the traditions of enslaved people from Sudan). We will then return to the hotel; after a brief rest, we will head out on quads, motorcycles, or horseback for an adrenaline-filled ride across the Erg Chebbi dunes, where we will watch the sunset from the highest peaks. Finally, we will return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay..

Day 6

 Merzouga – Erfoud – Ziz Valley and Gorges – Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane- Fez

We will wake up before sunrise to witness the beautiful desert dawn from the top of the Great Dune. We will return to the hotel for a delicious breakfast and/or a shower. Leaving the reddish Sahara dunes behind, we will continue by vehicle toward Erfoud. Next, we will head to Azrou, passing through the Ziz Valley and Gorges—where we will stop for photos—and continue to Midelt for a possible lunch break. Afterward, we will stop at the magnificent ancient cedar forests, home to monkeys (of the same species found in Gibraltar). We will then proceed to the city of Ifrane, located in the Middle Atlas Mountains and known as the "Switzerland of Morocco" due to its Northern European-style architecture; there, we will stop to visit the town center. Finally, we will arrive in the city of Fez in the mid-afternoon and transfer you to your accommodation, where breakfast is included.

Day 7

Guided tour of Fez

After breakfast, we will visit the city of Fez today. Our local guide will pick you up from your accommodation to begin the tour, starting with the Royal Palace gate and the Jewish quarter—specifically the first Mellah, built in the 16th century. We will ensure you visit all sites of cultural and historical interest, including the famous Al-Qarawiyyin University (the oldest in the world) and the tanneries. Afterward, you will visit a traditional pottery cooperative and then enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the entire Medina of Fez (the second-largest in the world). Overnight stay at the same accommodation with breakfast included..

Day 8

 Fez – Chefchaouen

After hotel pickup, we head north, driving through olive groves toward the Rif Mountains. The route takes us through valleys offering spectacular scenery; after a journey of over four hours, we arrive at Chefchaouen, the most visited city in northern Morocco. Founded in the 15th century as a defensive stronghold against Portuguese troops stationed in Ceuta, the city is famous for its distinctive blue hues and beautiful corners. After checking into your hotel, you will have free time to enjoy a meal and explore the city at your leisure—strolling through narrow cobblestone streets and soaking up the atmosphere. A visit here offers a glimpse into a centuries-old way of life; you can wander through the bustling souks where locals gather to trade, and admire the lovely fountains and communal wood-fired ovens found in every neighborhood, where residents bring their homemade dough to be baked. We can meet you in the medina to visit the Ras El Ma river—a traditional gathering spot for locals, historically centered around water mills and communal washing areas. Depending on your arrival time, you may wish to spend some free time strolling through this unique city located near Cape Spartel.
