Our 9-day, 8-night tour from Casablanca to Marrakech combines history, culture, and exotic landscapes, taking you through the "Blue City" of Chefchaouen, Fes, Meknes, and Volubilis before concluding in Marrakech. Immerse yourself in the beauty of the Atlas Mountains, kasbahs, valleys, Berber villages, and the Sahara Desert; here, you will ride a camel across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, enjoying a stunning sunset as you make your way to a luxury desert camp to sleep beneath a canopy of a thousand stars. Itinerary

CASABLANCA – RABAT – CHEFCHAOUEN – VOLUBILIS – FEZ – MERZOUGA – NOMADS – TINEGHIR – SAHARA DESERT – TODRA AND DADE GORGES – OUARZAZATE – AÏT BEN-HADDOU – MARRAKECH.

Day 1

Arrival at Casablanca Airport – Welcome to Morocco

Your journey through Morocco begins at Casablanca International Airport (Mohammed V). You will be met by one of our expert tour guides (who are also drivers) and taken to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time—and if there is sufficient time—we will visit the Hassan II Mosque and Rick’s Café (famous from the movie *Casablanca*) before taking you to your hotel to relax and prepare for your 9-day tour of Morocco starting from Casablanca. Overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 2

Casablanca- Rabat – Chefchaouen

After breakfast at the hotel, your driver will pick you up to visit Morocco's first great mosque—the Hassan II Mosque—if we were unable to do so on the first day. We will then head to Morocco's capital, Rabat, to see the Hassan Tower and the Kasbah of the Udayas. Afterward, we will travel to the blue-and-white city of Chefchaouen, crossing the Rif Mountains. Accommodation at your hotel (bed and breakfast).

Day 3

Chefchaouen – Half-day tour of the Blue City - Volubilis – Fez

After breakfast at your riad, we will explore the "Blue City." Nestled in the heart of the Rif Mountains in northern Morocco, the city was settled by Spanish Jews in the 15th century—an influence clearly reflected in its architecture; its whitewashed walls, blue doors, and windows are just part of its charm. Be sure to bring your cameras, as this peaceful, laid-back, and beautiful city is a top destination for photographers and bloggers. Afterward, we will head to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. You will explore the 3rd-century ruins before we continue to Meknes. Following lunch, your guide will take you on a tour of the city's highlights, including the Bab Mansour gate—the largest of all Moroccan imperial gates. The gate is remarkably well-preserved, featuring Moroccan *zellij* tilework and rooftop inscriptions; it was completed by Sultan Moulay Ismail, who founded Meknes in 1730. After exploring the Meknes medina, El Hedim Square, and Heri es-Souani, we will depart for Fez, where you will spend the night at your riad (bed and breakfast).

Day 4

 Exploring Fez with a local guide

After breakfast at the riad, we will take a guided tour of Fez with a local guide. Fez is Morocco's oldest city, where traditional ways of life remain visible as you walk through its alleys and narrow streets. Our tour begins at the Royal Palace gates and the Jewish Quarter—the first *Mellah* in Morocco, built in the 16th century. We will ensure you visit all sites of cultural and historical interest, including the famous Al Qaraouine University (the oldest in the region), the tanneries, the Attarine Museum, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss. After lunch, we will visit a tile cooperative and then enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the entire Fez Medina. The afternoon is at your leisure; accommodation and breakfast are included.

Day 5

 Fes – Ifrane – Merzouga Desert – Camel ride – Luxury camp

After breakfast at the riad, we resume our journey southward to visit the beautiful city of Ifrane, traveling through the Middle Atlas Mountains to Azrou. Here, we will stop at the cedar forest to see the monkeys and take photos. We will then pause for lunch before continuing our trip through the Ziz Valley—taking in the scenery and the Aouffous Oasis, which offers incredible photo opportunities—and passing through Erfoud. Next, we head to the village of Merzouga (Erg Chebbi), where we will switch from our 4x4 vehicle to camels—our "8x8" transport—guided by an experienced camel handler, to explore the mysterious sea of ​​sand at Erg Chebbi. This excursion begins in the late afternoon, as we set out from Merzouga for an overnight desert adventure. The camel trek takes us directly into the desert for about 40 minutes, leading to a luxury camp in the heart of the Sahara equipped with every comfort. It is a fantastic opportunity to capture stunning photos of the sunset and sunrise; upon arrival at the camp, we will walk to the high dunes to watch the sun go down. It promises to be a magical night where, weather permitting and skies clear, you can admire the brilliantly shining stars. A wonderful dinner will be served around a campfire, accompanied by traditional Berber drumming. You will spend the night in the luxury camp, which features a restaurant, a kitchen, and tents equipped with private en-suite bathrooms and showers; the tents are well-appointed, and we provide mattresses, blankets, and cushions.

Day 6

Merzouga – 4x4 Desert Tour – Nomadic Families – Khamlia – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley

After breakfast at your luxury desert camp, we will explore the Merzouga desert. We will drive across the Sahara in a 4×4 vehicle and visit a Berber-Bedouin family with long-standing traditions. You can sit in their tent and enjoy a cup of tea while reflecting on the fascinating, ancient artifacts that are part of their lives. The father (head of the family) usually prepares the tea, while the mother attends to household chores and the children gather around with bright, smiling faces. They welcome you warmly and invite you to share in their daily activities—such as herding livestock and traditional cooking—and to listen to the beautiful Berber language they speak. You will surely cherish these moments, as it is a truly wonderful experience. Afterward, we will stop at the village of Khamlia (the "Black village"), where we will relax and enjoy their traditional spiritual music, known as Gnawa (which originated in Sudan and was brought by enslaved people). We will then head toward Rissani, Tinghir, and the Todra Gorges—the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco. Lunch in the heart of the gorge is followed by a drive through the Dades Valley, where you will see majestic "sandcastles" and incredible rock formations known as "monkey fingers." Overnight stay, including dinner and breakfast.

Day 7

 Dades Valley – Rose Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

Let's go and start our journey through the authentic Dades Valley between Kalaat M'gouna (the capital of the rose) and Ouarzazate (the Hollywood of Africa). On our route in the Dades Valley, we will find a great opportunity to see thousands of Kasbahs. We will visit the Valle de Roses and the village of Skoura and then continue to Ouarzazate. After visiting the city of Hollywood, we will continue to enjoy a meal in the famous and largest Kasbah of Marruecos «Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah». This is the last one registered by UNESCO as one of the most beautiful monuments of Marruecos. Likewise, many films have been filmed in this Kasbah. After visiting this site declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, our journey will continue through the enchanting pass of Tizi N'Tichka until we finally arrive in Marrakech. Accommodation and breakfast included.

Day 8

Guided tour of Marrakech

Start your journey through the city with a guide from your accommodation, to explore the most notable aspects and main attractions of the red city of Marrakech. During this trip, you will visit the Koutoubia mezquita, The Koutoubia is the largest mezquita in Marrakech with an impressive minaret 70 meters high, after this, you will visit the Saadíes Tumbas (optional interior visit), sealed during the last few years which were discovered in 1917. tumbas harkened back to the era of sultan Ahmad al-Mansur. There are two main mausoleums inside the enclosure, which consist of 66 tumbs, while 100 more are located outside the gardens. Observe the marvelous Hispano-Morisca architecture that surrounded the cementery of the royal family, and visit the Palacio de la Bahía of the 19th century (optional interior visit), surrounded by beautifully tended gardens full of flowers and fruitful trees of sweet smell. The aristocratic palace has beautifully decorated residential quarters and an exuberant Moorish-style garden on the patio. And finally, we will visit the colorful zoos with their hojalateros, dyers, herb posts and tall toys, ending in the Jemaa El Fna plaza, where hundreds of restaurants come every day to enjoy the storytellers, musicians, serpent charmers, acrobats, malabarists and artists of all kinds. After lunch at a local restaurant (not included) we will continue by visiting the Jardines de Majorel in the new city (optional visit). These gardens derive from the name of its creator, the painter Jacques Majorelle and were created in 1920 and purchased in 1966 by Pierre Bergé and Yves Saint-Laurent. The garden now displays plants of all kinds from all over the world, pools filled with clouds and lotus, bright colors dominated by the intense blue (Major blue). In the heart of the Majorelle Garden, there is a museum of drinking art, which exclusively presents a collection of objects from various regions of Marruecos. The Majorelle garden is the ideal and unmissable place to take beautiful old photos. The journey through the city ends at 6 pm, we will return to our Riad. Accommodation and breakfast included.

Day 9

Marrakech – Airport

After enjoying the dinner at your Riad in Marrakech, you will be transferred to the Marrakech airport, Menara, arriving 2 hours and a half before your return home (the Marrakech airport is one of the most congested and it is necessary to arrive with sufficient time to avoid losing it vuelo). The Marvelous Morocco team hopes to have a good ride for Marruecos.
